The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has partnered with CISCO to offer a free cybersecurity training program for young Nigerians. This initiative is part of the celebration of October Cybersecurity Awareness Month and aims to equip participants with essential skills in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. Applications for the program are open until October 31, 2025.
The training will cover several important topics, including an introduction to cybersecurity, network defense, endpoint security, cyber threat management, and ethical hacking. These courses are designed to help participants understand the various aspects of cybersecurity and prepare them for careers in this critical area. By providing this training, NITDA and CISCO hope to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of young Nigerians and contribute to the nation’s overall digital safety.
Interested individuals are encouraged to enroll in the program and take advantage of this opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity. This initiative not only aims to empower young people but also to strengthen Nigeria’s defense against cyber threats in an increasingly digital world.
