Lagos has just rolled out the MyLagos App, a new digital tool aimed at making life in the city a whole lot easier. The launch took place at MTN Plaza in Ikoyi, where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by his deputy Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, shared how this app is a big leap towards turning Lagos into a top smart city in Africa. Created in partnership with MTN Nigeria and other key players, the app is all about giving residents quick and easy access to important city services.
The MyLagos App comes packed with features like real-time traffic updates, personalized navigation, emergency services, utility payments, business listings, and tourism info. Governor Sanwo-Olu pointed out that this app is a crucial bridge between the government and the community, fostering transparency and accountability. He encouraged everyone to take advantage of this digital resource to improve their daily routines and navigate the city with ease.
Abdulhakeem Giwa, MTN’s Manager of Digital Channel Management, called the app a game-changer, designed to elevate the urban experience in Lagos. With the MyLagos App, users can effortlessly find information on traffic, local businesses, events, and much more, making it an all-in-one resource for residents.
