The Trump Organization has unveiled a new mobile phone plan and a $499 smartphone, set to launch in September 2025. The service, named Trump Mobile, will offer a monthly plan priced at $47.45, which includes unlimited talk, text, data, roadside assistance, and a “Telehealth and Pharmacy Benefit.”
The smartphone, referred to as the “T1,” features a gold-colored metal case etched with the American flag and runs on Android 15. Its specifications include a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, 12 gigabytes of RAM, and 256 gigabytes of internal storage.
This venture reflects the Trump Organization’s strategy to capitalize on its association with Donald Trump, who is currently serving as the 47th president. The name of the mobile plan, “The 47 Plan,” references his presidential history.
Despite the launch, critics have raised concerns about the ethics of the licensing agreements tied to Trump’s brand. However, the organization reported earnings of over $8 million from various licensing deals in 2024.
